Iranian National Observatory (INO) Project is one of the key science projects aimed at promoting research in basic sciences. INO340 will be the first modern Iranian project in observational astronomy. It is a challenge in many ways, scientifically, technically, administratively and in terms of human resources and total organization. This project is executed by Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM).
